We help to raise the funds to support domestic charities within local communities helping to build and provide new infrastructure such as local parks, libraries and social clubs. Our highly trained staff are ready to help in whatever capacity, pop in store today to find out how we support local communities and how you can help.

NEW PARK CONSTRUCTED OUTSIDE LOCAL LEISURE CENTRE

SUPPORT DOMESTIC DEVELOPMENT IN LOCAL COMUNITITES

We have raised funds through donations from generous locals within the community, all the money raised is then put back into the community or to support charitable efforts overseas

This has allowed us to help support local communities in building new parks, libraries and schools aswell as providing supplies and hosting fun-day events and funds raising events

In 2018 we delivered £7965.38 worth of aid overseas working with UNICEF, however this doesn't match the £22,745.45 we put back into the community, in 2019 we hope to increase this figure by 300%

HELP PREVENT FURTHER CONFLICT IN WAR-TORN COUNTRIES

Working closely with our partners such as UNICEF, we provide funds and assist in preventing outbreaks in areas of previous conflict such as the wars of Syria and Iraq, by working with these partners we can secure a nation and aid in the re-building of a once great nation, with your help we can overcome the tyranny of evil

HELPING SECURE AND REBUILD COUNTIRES DESTROYED BY CONFLICT

We have help fund and provide aid to our partners working in the Middle-East and African continent to secure villages and provinces ravaged by war

By doing this we bring much need help and support from the international community to those in need of food, shelter and clothes all over the globe

Furthermore by supporting these weak countries now, in there time of need, this will allow the future generations to prosper building the foundations for a strong and independent nation which will thrive in todays world

By helping fund and support our partners such as UNICEF operating around the world we have helped secure southern Syria for displace civilians to move back home and rebuild

SUPPORTING NATIONS HIT BY NATURAL DISASTERS

Not only do we help with efforts of poverty on out own doorstep and improving the local community, to supporting efforts overseas in war-torn countries, we all support efforts both domestic and overseas supporting those hit by natural disasters. Working with our partners to establish safe zones, provide food, shelter and clothing, helping those who need it most get back on their feet

US STATE OF FLORIDA HIT BY A SUDDEN CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE

GIVING A HAND TO THOSE STRUCK BY SUDDEN DISASTER

After the US was hit by I devastating category 5 hurricane in Florida The Coventry Charity Store provided £5840.49 to the local authorities to aid in redevelopment efforts in the state

In addition to that we flew in other 2 tonnes of food, clothing and supplies over to the US for those who had there homes and personal possession destroyed by the devastating storm

While we have done all this i would not be possible without the generous community of people that support our small store allowing us to have a big global, for which we and the people we help are grateful

The impact we manage to have both domestic and abroad would not be possible without the partners that we work closely. Without them we wouldn't be able to have an impact. Working as part of a closely knit and integrated team allows us to accomplish much more than an individuals

As we are only a small shop we work with various partners such as UNICEF to support overseas charitable efforts to have a greater impact then we could ever have by ourselves

While working with our partners we have managed to support the effort of rebuilding in war-torn Syria and Iraq, fight poverty and famine in Africa and help communities stuck by disaster in the US

Heres a little information about one of our partners, The United Nations Children's Fund(UNICEF), originally known as the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and health care to children and mothers in countries that had been devastated by World War II
